Our People

Conner Rehage
Financial Advisor, President, CEO
Conner Rehage is the President and CEO of Harbor Hills, bringing more than a decade of leadership and investment experience to the firm. After earning his degree in finance, Conner began his career with Edward Jones, completing the firm’s rigorous Financial Advisor Career Development program and, at just 23 years old, leading the Montecito branch.
Under his leadership, the office grew to more than five times its previous peak in assets under care, serving over 300 households. In 2016, following the passing of his father, Conner stepped away to lead and modernize his family’s life and health insurance agency, The Rehage Organization. Once stabilized, he returned to his passion for investment management.
As one of the first advisors to join Partnervest Advisory Services, a local RIA, Conner later founded Harbor Hills Financial Advisors in 2019. Today, Harbor Hills operates as a full-service wealth management firm, delivering personalized financial strategies rooted in fiduciary care.
Conner specializes in portfolio management, individual stock selection, risk management, and behavioral coaching. He works alongside a team with expertise in financial planning, retirement and estate planning, wealth transfer, charitable strategies, insured solutions, and alternative investments.
Deeply rooted in the Santa Barbara community, Conner has served and volunteered with several local organizations. He lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, Gianna, a nurse, and their three children. Outside of work, the Rehage family enjoys surfing, biking, and hiking along the Central Coast.

Marcos Alvaro
Vice President
Marcos Alvaro brings more than 12 years of experience in financial services and a deeply client-centered approach to wealth management. His mission is to help individuals and families navigate life’s uncertainties with thoughtful, customized strategies designed for long-term success and peace of mind.
Marcos spent 11 years with JP Morgan Chase, where he consistently ranked among the firm’s top performers. During his tenure, he earned National Achiever recognition six times—an honor reserved for the highest-performing advisors nationwide.
Beyond his professional work, Marcos is deeply committed to the Santa Barbara community. He and his wife, Irene, actively support local youth and underserved families through volunteerism and philanthropy, partnering with several respected organizations throughout the area.

Anthony Purpero
Senior Financial Advisor, Partner
Tony Purpero is a senior financial advisor with more than 40 years of experience in investment management and comprehensive wealth planning. Prior to joining Harbor Hills, he served as Senior Vice President of Investments, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Financial Planning Specialist at Smith Barney. He was also among the first advisors to join Partnervest Advisory Services, helping deliver customized strategies to business owners, professionals, and individuals.
Tony’s philosophy centers on three core objectives: minimizing risk, preserving principal, and growing assets prudently over time. He works collaboratively with a trusted network of CPAs, estate and tax attorneys, trust advisors, and insurance professionals to ensure each client’s financial plan is coordinated and holistic.
He views every client relationship as a long-term partnership and is committed to providing clarity, education, and steady guidance. By focusing on disciplined strategy over short-term trends, Tony has earned the trust of clients across decades of market cycles.
